Graduates of
Moody High School met for their 60th Reunion Saturday,
June 15, 2002, at Moody Elementary School cafeteria.
Nineteen students were present. Coming the furthest was
Ray Garrett of Independence, MO.
Master of Ceremonies was Sally Joe Gipe Rambo, prayer by
Dr. Charles Howard, closing prayer by James Wallace.
Reunion committee was Otis Elkin, Ruth Newman and Louise
Allman. Sally Rambo supplied beautiful decorations for
the tables in school colors green and gold. A drawing
was held on several floral arrangements decorating each
table. Dinner was catered by Coffee Shop in McGregor.
Members present: Billy Dixon, Jacqueline Teague Thurman,
Charles and Lucille Beerwinkle Howard, Allene Mangum
Tucker, Jack Marrs, Ray Garrett, Evelyn Strange
Richards, Myrtle Corbin Coffey, Lawrence Dube, James L.
Wallace, Jerry and Cecil Guyer, Louise Allman, Louise
Coker Holt, Betty Jean Hatter Aycock, Ruth Teague
Newman, Sallie Joe Gipe Rambo, and Otis Elkin.
Not present: Virginia Hargett Menderman, Mary L. Ritchie
Wright, Jr., Ray Naylor, Doris McCaslin Helton, Mary
Wanda McDonald Dayton, Billye Wayne Baxter, Johnnie Ruth
Brisco Van Hook, Carl Guthrie, Christine Harris Watson,
Frances Houy Spurlin and Marie Corbis Payne.

Donaldson, Florence Haas, Mable Hicks, Helen Irvin,

Shamblin.
Approximately 35 attended. Everyone had a wonderful time
and plans to have their next reunion in five years. |
