Members and friends
of the 1953 graduating class of Moody High School gathered for
their 50th year reunion on April 26, 2003, at the MHS commons.
For some of the graduates it had been 50 years since they had
seen each other. There were many good times remembered. Some
of those involved school functions, and some were the good
times had going to Moody on Saturday afternoon and staying
into the night. While the parents visited and shopped, the
high schoolers were seeing a movie at the Palace Theater,
going to Payne's Drug Store to get a five cent ice cream cone
or walking through the Variety Store and Denney and Witt's
Store.
The attendees left saying it was good to be together again in
Moody at Moody High School. |
